Why a 40 mm Path Length?
A 40 mm path length provides four times the optical interaction of a standard 10 mm cell. This extended path dramatically improves sensitivity for ultra-dilute solutions and trace analysis, making it essential for environmental water testing and low-level contaminant detection.
Why Sintered Glass?
Sintered (fused) fabrication bonds cuvette walls using high-temperature fusion rather than adhesive. This creates superior chemical resistance against aggressive solvents and acids, along with greater thermal stability — ideal for labs requiring long service life.
Filling: Fill to approximately 80% capacity (~11.2 ml) for optimal light path coverage.
Cleaning: Rinse with distilled water, then ethanol or acetone. Dry with lint-free tissue.
Orientation: Align the two clear (polished) windows with the instrument beam path; frosted sides face left and right.
