Fabrication Methods
Products in this category are built using three fabrication techniques, each suited to different experimental demands. Standard 80 (>80% transmittance) uses precision-glued quartz panels — ideal for routine aqueous measurements. Sintered 83 (>83% transmittance) fuses quartz panels at high temperature without adhesive — chemically resistant to strong acids, bases, and most organic solvents. Molded 83 (>83% transmittance) is precision-molded from a single piece of quartz with no adhesive joints — the most chemically inert option, compatible with virtually all solvents.
