MachinedQuartz precision optical components include fused quartz plates, fused quartz discs, sapphire windows, CaF₂ windows, and other flat optical elements machined to exacting tolerances for UV-Vis-IR spectroscopy, laser systems, and semiconductor processing.
Material Options
We stock and machine UV-grade fused quartz (JGS1, JGS2), sapphire (C-plane, A-plane), calcium fluoride (CaF₂), barium fluoride (BaF₂), magnesium fluoride (MgF₂), and zinc selenide (ZnSe). Each material offers a distinct transmission range and mechanical profile suited to different applications.
Fabrication Capabilities
All optical components are precision-machined and polished in-house. Standard surface flatness λ/4, parallelism <30 arcsec, surface quality 60-40 scratch-dig. Higher specifications (λ/10, 20-10 scratch-dig) available on request. Custom shapes, holes, bevels, and coatings available.
Quality and Certification
All components manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management. Each shipment includes material certificates and dimensional inspection reports on request. Custom engraving and marking available for traceability.
Custom Orders
We specialize in small-to-medium batch custom optical components with no minimum order quantity. Prototype quantities (1–10 pieces) welcome. Standard lead time 7–14 business days; expedited 3–5 days available.
