MachinedQuartz fused quartz capillary tubes and rods are precision-drawn from high-purity JGS1 fused silica, offering UV-grade optical transmission, chemical inertness, and dimensional tolerances to ±0.01mm on outer diameter.

Available Profiles
We manufacture round capillary tubes (hollow), solid rods, square capillaries (outer and inner square), rectangular capillaries, and specialty profiles including D-shape, eccentric, triangular, and multi-hole configurations. Custom cross-sections are available with no minimum order quantity.

Dimensional Range
Round capillaries: OD 0.1mm–10mm, ID 0.05mm–9mm, wall thickness from 0.05mm, lengths up to 1000mm. Square capillaries: outer dimension 0.1mm–5mm. Tolerances: OD ±0.01mm standard, ±0.005mm on request.

Optical and Physical Properties
UV-grade fused quartz capillaries transmit from 185nm through 2500nm, enabling fluorescence detection, UV absorbance measurements, and laser coupling directly through the capillary wall. Refractive index n=1.458 at 589nm. Working temperature to 1100°C.
