How to source quartz cuvettes for your laboratory or instrument
MachinedQuartz LLC is a US-based supplier that sources quartz cuvettes and optical components from external suppliers in China. We support product selection, specification review and custom-order coordination.
Confirm the supplier’s role
Ask who produces the cuvette, who handles your quotation and order, and which organisation can provide the documents you require. MachinedQuartz does not operate its own manufacturing factory. Manufacturing, inspection capability and documentation depend on the selected supplier and product.
If an ISO certificate, material certificate or inspection report is required, request it before ordering and check the issuer, scope and applicability. An organisation’s location or a product listing alone does not establish certification.
Define the optical and mechanical requirements
Start with the instrument model and application. Include the measurement wavelength range, path length, required sample volume, optical window arrangement, beam height, external dimensions and closure. For a flow cell, include the connection type and relevant operating conditions.
Use the specifications of the selected model. If dimensions, tolerances, material grade or compatibility are not listed, request confirmation instead of assuming that another model’s specifications apply.
Compare cuvette models in the size chart or browse the cuvette catalog.
Prepare a clear RFQ
- Catalog SKU or a drawing with dimensions and tolerances.
- Material, optical requirements, construction and closure.
- Quantity, required delivery date and delivery destination.
- Instrument model, sample conditions and intended application.
- Inspection criteria, matching requirements and purchasing documents.
Separate mandatory requirements from preferences so the supplier can identify possible alternatives. For repeat orders, retain the approved drawing revision and the agreed specifications.
Review the quotation before ordering
Confirm the model or drawing revision, sales quantity, price, production time, dispatch arrangements, freight charges and any required documents. Minimum order quantity and lead time must be confirmed for the particular item and order.
For instrument integration or a new measurement method, confirm fit and relevant performance requirements before a bulk purchase. Agree the acceptance criteria and how a specification discrepancy will be handled.
