Handling and Care

• Before first use, bake in an oven at approximately 105 °C for 120 minutes to remove moisture.
• Do not heat with an open flame, gasoline torch, acetylene torch or alcohol lamp.
• Keep heating rates below 1200 °C under 5 °C per minute.
• Keep cooling rates above 1200 °C under 4 °C per minute; avoid excessively rapid temperature changes.
• Maintain a distance greater than 5 cm from the heating element.
