Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and make sure the liquid level covers the beam path used in your instrument. Keep bubbles, droplets and dried residue away from the optical faces, and handle the cuvette by non-optical areas where possible.

The 3 mL figure is the nominal chamber capacity. If your method uses partial fills or a fixed beam position, check the liquid height in use rather than treating the nominal capacity as a working-fill guide.
