Using this cell

Fill the cell from the open top and keep the sample level stable across the optical region used in your setup. For fluorescence work, keep the cell orientation consistent between blank and sample measurements so the same faces stay in the excitation and collection positions.

The open chamber is practical when you want direct pipette access and fast rinsing on the bench. Avoid overfilling to the point that liquid spreads across the outside optical faces, and check that bubbles are not trapped in the beam area before measurement.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for dust, residue or scratches before first use. Rinse the chamber with a cleaning liquid appropriate for your method, load a blank, and confirm that the intended sample region is free of bubbles and dried residue.
