C104SR3 combines a 10 mm primary path with a 2 mm secondary path in a compact JGS1 quartz micro cuvette. The Four-Way Light layout gives optical access from multiple sides, while the 700 µL nominal capacity keeps the cell small enough for micro-volume handling. Using this cell

Fill the cell so the liquid fully covers the optical region you intend to use, then remove visible bubbles before measurement. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs so the beam passes through the same path each time.

The 700 µL value is the nominal cell capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you plan to work below that fill level, check in your own instrument that the beam still passes fully through the covered liquid region for the selected path.

First-use check

Rinse the cell with a suitable liquid for your method, inspect the optical faces for dust or residue, and check that the closure seats cleanly. A blank run is a practical first check for fill coverage, orientation and visible contamination in the illuminated area.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped cell body is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm with a 12.5 × 12.5 mm base. These dimensions help you check holder seating and external clearance, but they do not define the full envelope with the closure fitted.
