Fill the cell from the top and use enough sample to keep the beam area covered during measurement. Clear visible bubbles before reading, and keep the same cell orientation for blank and sample when your procedure depends on consistent placement.

Because this is an open cell body without a closure, it suits bench loading and immediate measurement better than closed transfer or covered storage. Handle the cuvette by the non-optical outer faces to reduce fingerprints on the measurement windows.
