Prof. Dr. Zhiyuan Zhu is a full professor at Southwest University, China. He earned his PhD in microelectronics and solid-state electronics from Peking University and his BS in electronic science and technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His research focuses on microsystem technology, micro/nano-fabrication, self-powered sensors and nano-energy devices — areas in which fused silica and machined quartz are core substrate and process materials. He serves as a technical reviewer for MachinedQuartz, verifying the accuracy of our fused-silica, fused-quartz and fabrication content.
