MQQCU022 is a JGS1 quartz standard cuvette with a 10 mm optical path and 1 mL nominal capacity for UV/Vis spectroscopy. It combines a compact open-top body with frosted sides and a reference line, so it is easier to handle and to return to the same measuring orientation between blank and sample. It is supplied as one cuvette.

Using this cell
Fill from the open top and make sure the liquid covers the illuminated region during measurement. For reliable blank-to-sample comparison, keep the same cell orientation each time and use the reference line as a simple visual guide during handling.
Before reading, remove bubbles, exterior droplets and fingerprints from the clear optical faces. The 1 mL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a stated minimum working volume.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and chamber for dust, residue or edge damage.
- Seat the cell in the holder and run a blank to confirm stable placement and alignment.
- Refill with sample in the same orientation and recheck for bubbles before measurement.

Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. It is intended for routine room-temperature aqueous samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this bonded assembly. If your method requires organic solvents or heated treatment, ask about a suitable Sintered or Molded alternative before ordering.
Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaners. Clean the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
