(MQQFL038) Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette, 1 mm path, Short-Path Fluorescence Cell
Description
MQQFL038 is a quartz fluorescence cuvette with a 1 mm optical path, Four-Way Light access and a 350 uL nominal capacity. This short-path format is useful when your UV/Vis or fluorescence method is built around a compact optical path while still needing side access around the sample region. The cell is open top and supplied with an accompanying closure for routine handling.

Choose this option
Choose this cell when the method specifically requires a 1 mm path and a small nominal chamber rather than a longer-path fluorescence cell. The four-way optical layout supports measurement geometries that use more than one direction around the sample, and the open-top format keeps filling, rinsing and visual checking straightforward at the bench.
What makes this option different
- 1 mm optical path for methods designed around a short transmission distance.
- Four-Way Light configuration for optical access on four sides around the sample region.
- 350 uL nominal capacity for a compact chamber without implying a verified minimum working fill.
- Quartz open-top body with accompanying closure for direct filling and routine handling as supplied.
Using this cell
Fill from the top and place the accompanying closure as supplied for your normal handling routine. Keep the cell orientation consistent between blank and sample measurements so the same optical faces are presented to the instrument each time.
Use enough sample to cover the beam region used by your holder, then remove bubbles and wipe the outside optical faces before reading. The 350 uL value is the nominal chamber capacity, not a stated minimum working volume.
First-use check
- Inspect the quartz faces, top opening and closure before first use.
- Rinse with a suitable blank and confirm that the cell sits stably in the holder.
- Run a blank in the same orientation and closure arrangement planned for the sample.
Fit and optical alignment
View the English selection reference.
This SKU is identified by path length and optical layout, but the external envelope and Z Height are not established here. If your instrument uses a fixed holder or a defined beam-center height, check against the cell you currently use rather than assuming fit from the 1 mm path alone.
For a fixed mount, it is best to review the holder opening, seating geometry and beam position before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning
Select the sample and cleaning routine for the complete cell assembly, not only the quartz body. If your method involves organic solvents, aggressive chemicals, heat or extended soaking, please check suitability before use because the full assembly limits are not established here.
Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Included with this option
1 quartz fluorescence cuvette with the accompanying closure. The listed price is for 1 piece.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
If you need a different body size, path length, opening style or holder fit, send your drawing or current cell reference through our contact page. Custom JGS1 quartz work is reviewed separately from this listed SKU.
