Using this cell

Fill the cell so the sample fully covers the instrument beam during measurement, and keep the same orientation when comparing blank and sample. Handle the cuvette by the non-optical faces where possible to reduce fingerprints in the light path.

The 3.5 mL figure is the nominal cuvette capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses a low fill level or your instrument has a fixed beam height, check that the filled sample will cover the beam in your own setup.

First-use check

Before first use, inspect the optical faces for chips, residue or handling marks. Rinse with a suitable cleaning liquid for your method, then make a quick blank measurement to confirm that the sample level and beam position are suitable in your instrument.

Fit and optical alignment
