Using this cell

Fill each cuvette so the liquid covers the beam area used by your instrument, then fit the cap carefully before measurement. Keep the optical faces clean and free from fingerprints, dried residue and bubbles, and use the same orientation consistently if your method depends on matching blank and sample positioning.

Because this is a capped cell format, check the seating surfaces before routine use and avoid forcing the threads. Hold the cells by non-optical surfaces during loading and measurement.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, threads and cap seating areas before first use. Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method, place each cell in the holder to check clearance, and run a blank to confirm clean optical faces and correct beam coverage.

Fit and optical alignment
