(C104WE) Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 3.5 mL
Original price was: $380.00.$342.00Current price is: $342.00.
Quartz fluorescence cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, Four-Way Light access and 3.5 mL nominal capacity. This option combines a round-bottom profile with a PTFE three-way valve assembly and 8 mm OD / 4 mm ID tube dimensions, so connection layout and installed clearance matter alongside the optical path. The listed price is for 1 cuvette.
Description
C104WE is a quartz fluorescence cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, Four-Way Light access and 3.5 mL nominal capacity. Its round-bottom version is combined with a PTFE three-way valve assembly, making this option relevant when you need connected sample handling and need to match the specified body profile rather than choosing an open-top cell.

Choose this option
Choose C104WE when your method needs a 10 mm fluorescence cell with optical access from four sides and sample introduction through a valve assembly. The round-bottom version keeps that profile choice explicit, while the stated 8 mm OD / 4 mm ID tube dimensions help you plan tubing and clearance around the cell instead of looking only at the optical body.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path suits methods written around this path length.
- Four-Way Light layout provides optical access on four sides around the sample region.
- Round-bottom version preserves the specified profile distinction for setups that need this option rather than a flat-bottom alternative.
- PTFE three-way valve assembly supports connected filling or transfer instead of direct top access.
- 8 mm OD / 4 mm ID tube dimensions help you match the connection size and routing space in your setup.
- Quartz cell with Molded 83 fabrication is a useful choice direction for methods involving organic-solvent work, while full chemical suitability still depends on the complete assembly and actual conditions.
Using this cell
Introduce the sample through the valve assembly in the intended operating orientation of your setup. Keep the optical faces clean and make sure the sample covers the illuminated region during measurement. The stated 3.5 mL is the nominal chamber capacity, not a minimum working volume.
For fluorescence work, keep blank and sample in the same orientation. If your method is sensitive to bubbles, inspect the beam area carefully after filling and clear any trapped air before measurement.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces for dust, residue or handling marks.
- Check holder fit against the 12.5 × 12.5 mm body section.
- Confirm your tubing fit for the stated 8 mm OD / 4 mm ID connection dimensions.
- Run a blank in the same orientation planned for sample measurement.
Fit and optical alignment
The confirmed body dimensions apply to the optical cell body below the valve assembly: 12.5 × 12.5 mm body section and 45 mm body height. These dimensions are useful for checking holder space around the optical portion of the cell.
The complete installed envelope is larger because the valve assembly and tubing extend beyond the body dimensions above. Z Height is not available for this SKU, so do not assume beam-center compatibility from the body size alone; check against your instrument or holder if beam position is fixed.
Solvents and cleaning
This quartz cell is recorded with supplier-described optical-contact integrated construction and the current Molded 83 fabrication option. For customer selection, that fabrication is commonly chosen for methods involving organic solvents, but it does not by itself establish a complete chemical-compatibility list for the assembled cell.
Choose samples and cleaning liquids that suit the full assembly, including the valve area and PTFE components. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods, and clean the optical faces with non-abrasive optical tissue or swabs.
