Glass micro cuvette for visible absorbance measurements with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 1.75 mL nominal capacity. The 5 mm sample region helps when your method needs a defined illuminated area, and a PTFE closure is included. Sold as 1 cuvette per listed price unit.
Description
C102CS11 is a glass Micro Cuvette for visible absorbance work, combining a 10 mm optical path with a 1.75 mL nominal capacity in a compact sample format. Its Two-Way Light layout and 5 mm sample region make it a practical option when you need straightforward transmission measurements and want to keep the illuminated area in mind during setup. A PTFE closure is included, and this listing is for 1 cuvette per price unit.
This adhesive-bonded construction is supplied as a Standard 80 type. It is intended for visible-light use, with sample and cleaning choices kept within the limits of the bonded assembly.

Choose this option
Choose C102CS11 when you need a visible-light micro cuvette with a standard 10 mm path and a moderate nominal volume, but your method also depends on a narrower 5 mm sample region rather than a broad illuminated section. The included PTFE closure lets you cover the opening during routine handling, while the glass body keeps this version focused on visible absorbance applications rather than UV/Vis work.
What makes this option different
- Glass micro cuvette for visible absorbance measurements.
- 10 mm optical path with 1.75 mL nominal capacity.
- Two-Way Light transmission layout with a 5 mm sample region.
- PTFE closure included; sold as 1 cuvette per listed price unit.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the beam passes through a fully covered liquid region, and keep bubbles and residue away from the optical faces. For blank and sample runs, use the same orientation each time so the beam meets the cell in a consistent way.
The PTFE closure is useful for covered bench handling after filling. It should not be treated as a pressure-rated, leak-proof or transport seal, so any filled movement or closed-system use should be checked against your actual setup.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and bonded areas for chips, particles or dried residue.
- Rinse only with a compatible liquid for your method.
- Run a blank first and confirm beam position with the filled sample region you plan to use.
Fit and optical alignment
The 5 mm sample region matters when your instrument has a fixed beam footprint or limited positioning tolerance. Check that the beam passes cleanly through the intended region and that your fill level fully covers the illuminated area during measurement.
Z Height is not established for this item, so instrument fit should not be assumed from path length alone. If beam-center height or holder geometry is critical, send the holder or instrument details before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This adhesive-bonded Standard 80 construction is best kept to gentle routine handling within the stated chemical limits of the assembled cell.
Do not soak or rinse with ethanol. The supplier restriction for this bonded construction also states that it is not resistant to acids, alkalis or organic solvents. Avoid aggressive cleaning and check all sample-contact materials in the full assembly before use.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
Availability and ordering

For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch together with instrument or holder details, sample conditions and target quantity. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; feasibility, final specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Discuss your requirements and reference C102CS11.
