Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the beam passes fully through liquid, and avoid bubbles or residue in the sample region. Use the same orientation for blank and sample measurements to keep the optical path consistent.
The lid is included for routine covered handling, but this page does not present a pressure or leak-tight rating. The 1.05 mL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.
First-use check
- Inspect the cuvette for clean windows and any visible damage.
- Test-fit the empty cell in your holder before filling.
- Run a visible-range blank in the same orientation planned for samples.
- Confirm that the liquid level covers the measurement region without trapped bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
This product is a micro cuvette, but the external dimensions and Z Height are not established for this option on this page. For holder-specific work, especially where beam height or compartment clearance is tight, confirm the seated fit and beam position before ordering.
The Two-Way Light configuration supports transmission through two opposing optical faces. It does not by itself establish compatibility with a specific holder or beam-center geometry.
Solvents and cleaning
This adhesive-bonded cuvette uses Standard 80 construction. Keep use and cleaning within the stated limits for this construction.
Do not soak or rinse with ethanol, and do not use acids, alkalis or organic solvents with this option. Clean promptly after use with a compatible aqueous liquid for your method, and avoid abrasive wiping on the optical faces.
