Using this cell

Fill each cuvette from the top so the measurement region is fully covered during the run. Keep the outer optical faces clean and dry, and check for bubbles before placing the cell in the holder.

If you use one cuvette for a blank and the other for a sample, keep the same orientation in the instrument for both. The 1.05 mL figure is the nominal capacity of each cuvette, not a minimum working volume, so lower fill levels should be checked in your actual setup.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes under good light for clean optical faces and any visible damage.
Test-fit each empty cuvette in your holder before filling.
Run a visible-range blank with your intended orientation.
Confirm that your normal fill level covers the illuminated region without bubbles.

Fit and optical alignment

This is a micro cuvette format, but the external dimensions and Z Height are not established for this SKU. If your holder depends on a specific outer body size, beam-center height or tight compartment clearance, check fit before ordering for instrument-specific use.

The Two-Way Light layout means transmission through opposite optical faces. It does not by itself establish beam height or holder compatibility.

Solvents and cleaning

This adhesive-bonded cuvette uses Standard 80 construction. It is best suited to room-temperature aqueous methods rather than organic samples or organic cleaning routines.

Do not soak or rinse with ethanol, and do not use acids, alkalis or organic solvents with this construction. Clean promptly with a compatible aqueous liquid for your method, and handle the optical faces gently to avoid scratches.
