Using this cell

Fill each cuvette from the top and make sure the liquid covers the beam area used by your instrument. Keep the orientation consistent across blank and sample measurements, and remove visible bubbles before reading.

The included lids cover the open tops during normal use, but this is not a pressure-rated or leak-tight assembly. The stated 7 mL is a nominal capacity for each cuvette and should not be used as a minimum working volume for beam coverage.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes for residue, dust or handling marks on the optical faces.
Seat each empty cell in the holder before preparing your measurement pair.
Run a blank in the same orientation planned for sample measurement.
After filling, confirm that the sample region is bubble-free and fully covers the beam.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped dimensions of each cuvette are 12.5 × 22.5 × 45 mm. These values describe the bare cell body, so they are useful for checking holder seating and general body clearance, while top clearance for the installed lid should be checked separately if space is limited.

Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your instrument requires a specific beam-center height, confirm that alignment before ordering rather than relying on the standard body shape alone.

Solvents and cleaning

These cuvettes are described for contact with acids, alkalis and organic liquids, but that statement does not define concentration, temperature, exposure time or full compatibility for every contacting component. If your method involves strong chemicals, elevated temperature or liquid contact with the lid area, review the exact conditions before routine use.
