Using this cell

Fill the cuvette from the top and make sure the liquid level fully covers the beam during measurement. For blank and sample comparisons, keep the same orientation where your procedure depends on repeatable positioning, and remove visible bubbles before reading.

The lid is useful for routine covered handling after filling. It should not be treated as a sealed closure for pressure use.
