(C102CS10) Glass Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 1.75 mL
Description
C102CS10 is a glass micro cuvette for visible absorbance work when you want a standard 10 mm optical path in a smaller-capacity format. Its 1.75 mL nominal capacity and 5 mm sample region help you plan beam coverage and fill level more carefully than with a larger general-purpose cell. This sale unit includes 1 cuvette with a PTFE lid.

Choose this option
Choose C102CS10 when your method is limited to visible-light measurements and you want a compact transmission cell rather than a UV-capable quartz version. The adhesive-bonded glass construction and visible-only use matter here because the sample and cleaning limits are narrower than for broader-range quartz cells.
What makes this option different
- Visible absorbance use only, not a UV/Vis cuvette.
- 10 mm optical path with 1.75 mL nominal capacity in a micro cuvette format.
- 5 mm sample region for planning beam coverage in compact measurements.
- PTFE lid included with this single-cuvette sale unit.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the illuminated sample region is fully covered during measurement, and keep the optical faces clean and free from bubbles or residue. Use the same seating orientation for blank and sample runs to keep the transmission path consistent.
The 1.75 mL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell. It is not a minimum working volume, so lower-fill methods should be checked against the actual beam position in your instrument.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and lid for dust, chips or dried residue.
- Test holder seating with the empty cell before filling.
- Run a blank in the same orientation planned for samples.
- Confirm that the liquid level fully covers the beam path without bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
Match the instrument beam to the 5 mm sample region and check that the cell sits securely in your holder. Path length alone does not establish full instrument fit.
Z Height is not established for this SKU, and an externally verified body-size envelope is not available here for customer fit guidance. If your holder, clamp or compartment has limited clearance or depends on a fixed beam-center height, please check those points before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This adhesive-bonded Standard 80 construction is intended for routine visible-light work within the stated material limits. The lid should be considered as part of the full wetted assembly during use and cleaning.
Do not soak or rinse this cell with ethanol. It is not resistant to acids, alkalis or organic solvents under the supplier’s stated restriction for this adhesive construction. Use only mild compatible aqueous cleaning, avoid abrasive cleaning, and avoid aggressive chemical exposure during both sample handling and cleanup.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
