Handling and Care

• Bake at approximately 105 °C for 120 minutes before first use to remove moisture.
• Do not heat with an open flame, or with gasoline, acetylene or alcohol torches.
• Avoid raising or lowering the temperature too quickly; keep the heating rate below 5 °C per minute under 1200 °C and the cooling rate below 4 °C per minute above 1200 °C.
• Maintain a distance of more than 5 cm from the heating element.
