MQQMC011 combines a 5 mm optical path with a 45 µL nominal sample region, a small square optical window and two top stainless steel fluid connections. It is a transmission flow-cell format for methods that require the stated path, beam position and connection geometry together.

Choose this option

Choose the 5 mm / 45 µL version for a method specified around a 5 mm measurement path and a small flowing sample region. Check the 3 × 3 mm optical window and 15 mm base-to-beam-centre height separately from sample capacity. A shared outer format does not by itself establish instrument compatibility.

What makes this option different

5 mm path / 45 µL nominal capacity: these values identify this option. Nominal capacity is not a minimum working-fill specification.
3 × 3 mm optical window: check the illuminated beam size against the measurement opening; it is distinct from the liquid-tube bore.
15 mm Z Height: this is the specified base-to-beam-centre distance, rather than the overall cell height.
Two stainless steel tubes: the fixed top connections are 1 mm OD / 0.6 mm ID. Their material and bore need to suit your sample as well as your tubing arrangement.

Using this cell

Support the body while attaching or removing tubing so that forces do not load the narrow metal connections. Fill and flush the measurement region without bubbles before running a blank. External tubing adds its own volume; use a consistent seating and orientation for blank and sample.

First-use check

Inspect the optical window, body and two tube ends for damage or residue.
Verify holder seating and beam access before attaching the complete liquid circuit.
Flush with a suitable blank, remove bubbles and establish a stable reading before measuring samples.

Fit and optical alignment

The optical body is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. The fixed assembly, including the top tubes, is 55 mm high; allow additional space for your own tubing and its bend radius. Check holder seating, the 15 mm beam-centre height and the 3 × 3 mm window together.

Solvents and cleaning

Standard 80 is an adhesive-bonded quartz construction for routine room-temperature aqueous samples and buffers. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents on this bonded assembly. Check chemical exposure for the stainless steel tubes and every other wetted connection as well as the quartz body.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Wipe exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue, and keep handling loads off the projecting tubes.
