Using this cell

Load the sample carefully from the top opening and make sure the liquid fully covers the part of the optical path used by your instrument. Because this is an open-top cell with no closure, handle it upright during filling, transfer and measurement.

Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs, and avoid bubbles or residue in the short-path sample region. The 35 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a stated minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and top opening for chips, particles or dried residue.
Confirm that the cell seats correctly in your holder before loading a valuable sample.
Run a blank at your measurement wavelength using the same orientation intended for the sample.

Fit and optical alignment
