Using this cell

Fill the cuvette from the top and check that the liquid fully covers the illuminated region during measurement. The open chamber makes it easier to pipette, pour, rinse and inspect the sample area before you place the cell in the holder.

If you use the lid, seat it after filling as part of your bench handling routine. The listing establishes that a lid is included, but it does not establish lid material, assembled height with the lid in place or any sealing or pressure performance.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and chamber on receipt, then rinse the cell with a liquid suitable for your method before first use. After filling, remove visible bubbles or droplets from the light path and run your normal blank to verify seating and alignment in the holder.
