Original price was: $142.00.$128.00Current price is: $128.00.
C102CD4 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis work, combining a 10 mm optical path with 100 µL nominal capacity and a 15 mm Z Height. Its stopper-equipped format keeps the top covered during routine handling while preserving a compact body for holder planning. Sold as 1 cuvette, with closure included.
Description
C102CD4 is a JGS1 quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, 100 µL nominal capacity and a 15 mm Z Height. It is useful when you need a standard 10 mm measurement path in a small-volume format and want a stopper-equipped top for routine handling. The compact body also helps when you are matching beam height and holder space together.

Choose this option
Choose C102CD4 when your method is built around a 10 mm UV/Vis path but your sample amount fits a 100 µL nominal ultra-micro cell better than a larger cuvette. The 15 mm Z Height is an important fit point for base-referenced beam alignment, and the included closure suits workflows where you want the sample covered at the top during normal bench use.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for UV/Vis methods that are set up around this common path length.
- 100 µL nominal capacity in an ultra-micro format for small-sample measurements without moving to a shorter path cell.
- 15 mm Z Height from the base to the optical centre for holder and beam-position matching.
- Two-Way Light configuration for the defined transmission path used in routine UV/Vis measurement.
- Stopper-equipped format with closure included for top-covered sample handling.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction for room-temperature water-based sample and buffer use.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the illuminated region is fully covered before measurement. The 100 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume, so your actual fill level should be set by beam coverage and stable handling in your own setup.
Insert the closure gently and keep the top contact area clean. The stopper-equipped design is useful for routine covered handling of small liquid volumes, but it should not be treated as a pressure rating or as proof for inversion, transport or other closed-system use without checking your own conditions.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and top opening for dust, residue or handling marks.
- Place the empty cell in your holder and check seating and top clearance.
- Fill with blank solution first and confirm that the beam region is fully covered.
- Insert the closure gently and make sure your normal handling does not disturb the fill condition.
Fit and optical alignment
The body format is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm for the bare cell body. That 45 mm height does not include the full projecting clearance of the closure, so if your holder area has limited vertical space, leave room above the neck as well as around the body.
The optical centre is 15 mm above the base. Match that base-to-beam reference to your instrument, and confirm that the beam passes through the intended liquid-filled region rather than near the upper meniscus.
Solvents and cleaning
This cell uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. It is a practical choice for room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this assembled cell.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. Clean with a suitable non-abrasive laboratory procedure, and wipe the outside optical faces gently with optical tissue.
