Fill the chamber from the open top and check that the filled sample covers the beam area used by your instrument. The open chamber is convenient for manual pipetting, quick emptying and rinse cycles between measurements.

Because this is an open cell body, it is best suited to bench use where top access is useful during loading and inspection. Handle it by the non-optical surfaces, and keep the outer transmission faces clean and dry before measurement.
