C404CA1 is a JGS1 quartz fluorescence cuvette supplied as a pack of 2. Each cell combines a 10 mm / 40 mm dual optical path with Four-Way Light access, giving you one body format for side-oriented fluorescence geometry and a larger filled sample region. Using this cell

Fill each cell from the top and place the lid gently after loading if your workflow uses it during handling. Keep orientation consistent between blank and sample measurements so the same faces are used throughout the run.

Before measurement, check the beam area for bubbles, droplets and residue. If you use both cells in one method, prepare and position them in the same way so the optical path and viewing direction stay comparable.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes for clean optical faces, intact edges and any transit marks before use. Test-fit one empty cell in the holder first, then run your normal blank in the same orientation you will use for the sample measurements.

Fit and optical alignment

The listed 12.5 × 42.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the uncapped body of each cell. Use those dimensions to check holder seating and side clearance, and leave extra room above the cuvette for filling, handling and any installed lid.

Z Height is not listed for this SKU. If your instrument has a fixed beam-center height, confirm beam position against the sample region before ordering. The 15 mL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.

Solvents and cleaning
