Why a Two-Way Oversized Cuvette?
Two-way oversized cuvettes combine expanded body dimensions with precision optical surfaces on two opposing faces. The C062CR‘s 6 mm path and 4.5ml volume — housed in a 30 × 10 × 40 mm exterior frame with 26 × 6 × 38 mm internal chamber — accommodates larger sample quantities and reduces filling artifacts. The oversized body provides better thermal uniformity and minimizes wall effects for more accurate readings.
Why Sintered 83?
The Sintered 83 process fuses high-purity quartz granules at elevated temperatures, producing a cell with excellent deep-UV transmittance down to 190 nm and minimal fluorescence background. This makes the C062CR suitable for demanding UV applications including nucleic acid quantification and protein analysis at 260/280 nm.
