Place the sample into the circular recess in the body, then seat the cover plate evenly on clean contact surfaces. This format works well when you need to see the sample region during loading instead of filling through a narrow opening.

Solvents and cleaning

Standard 80 is an adhesive-bonded quartz construction best suited to routine room-temperature aqueous samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents on the bonded assembly. If your method needs organic solvents or heated treatment, ask about a more suitable Sintered or Molded alternative before ordering.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid with quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials. Clean exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
