Description
MQQHC023 is a JGS1 quartz Demountable Cuvette with a removable cover plate. Its 0.2 mm path and 20 µL nominal capacity distinguish it from a conventional open-top liquid cuvette. The supplier identifies this design for solution, powder and solid-sample fluorescence work; the holder and measurement geometry must suit the sample form.

Choose this option
- Choose this option when access to the sample region and a short specified path are central to your method.
- Compare with a stoppered or flow cell if your setup instead needs a retained liquid volume or tubing connections. The cover plate alone does not establish a sealed assembly.

What makes this option different
- Removable cover: the cell body and separate cover plate can be handled independently for sample placement and inspection.
- 0.2 mm path; 20 µL nominal capacity: these describe this option, not a minimum fill volume or a measurement of every assembled cell.
- Compact sample region: the drawing marks a 10 × 10 mm sample area within a 12.5 mm wide body. This area is not a verified clear-aperture specification.
Using the removable cover plate
Keep particles and residue away from the surfaces where the cover and body meet. For a liquid method, check how your holder retains the sample and positions the cover before loading; a leakage limit or sealing procedure has not been established for this option.
For powders or solids, define the sample placement, illumination side and collection geometry in your method. Repeat the same mounting and orientation for the blank or background and sample. Nominal liquid capacity does not describe a permissible powder mass or solid thickness.
First-use check
- Inspect the sample region and cover-contact surfaces for chips or residue.
- Check the intended mounting and sample-retention arrangement before loading.
- Repeat the background or blank with the same cover position and sample orientation.
Fit the body and cover together
The uncovered body measures 12.5 × 1.45 × 45 mm; the separate cover plate measures 12.5 × 1.25 × 45 mm. These are component dimensions. An assembled envelope and the required holder or clamping arrangement still need confirmation.
Send your holder model, available mounting space and beam size/position for an assembly check. Z Height, usable aperture and an assembly-specific path tolerance are not yet established; do not infer them from the 45 mm body height or cover thickness.

Solvents and cleaning — Standard 80
This Standard 80 design is described as adhesive bonded. Chemical exposure therefore involves the joints as well as the quartz surfaces. Obtain a compatibility check before using organic-solvent rinses, aggressive cleaners, heat or prolonged soaking.
Specify the sample and cleaning chemicals, concentrations, temperatures and contact times together. As a general quartz precaution, avoid hydrofluoric acid. Handle exterior optical faces with clean, non-abrasive optical tissue; another manufacturer’s cleaning recipe should not be assumed suitable for this assembly.
Included with this option
One MQQHC023 Demountable Cuvette with a cover plate. The price is for this cell-and-cover option. A holder, clamp, spacer kit or sealing accessory is not established as part of the supply.
For selection support, send the sample form, measurement mode, holder/mounting arrangement and beam position. If you require a measured assembled path or dimensional report, state the acceptance criteria before ordering. Send a product-selection enquiry with SKU MQQHC023, quantity and delivery destination.
Availability and ordering
Stock may not be immediately available for this specialised configuration. You can order the listed specification directly, or contact us first to confirm availability and any preparation or production wait.
For a time-sensitive order, please check timing with us before checkout. Preparation or production time is separate from carrier transit.
Discuss a custom version
For a demountable design, specify the required sample path, sample region, cover-plate dimensions and how the cell and cover will be held in your setup. Include any sealing requirement for separate review.
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to your application.
Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells. The final quantity, feasibility, specifications, fabrication, inspection requirements, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. The displayed price applies to the listed SKU and pack quantity; modified designs and prototype batches are quoted separately.
Discuss a custom version. You can start with a sketch, reference photograph or instrument and holder information if you do not yet have a complete drawing. Include the required quantity and target date with your enquiry.
