Description

MQQMC030 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis and fluorescence measurements that use a 10 mm optical path in a compact 100 µL format. The Three-Way Light layout, 2 × 5 mm window and 15 mm Z Height help you place the beam through a small defined optical region rather than selecting only by outer size or nominal volume. Its open top gives direct access for careful filling and visual checking.

Choose this option

Choose MQQMC030 when your method needs a 10 mm path in a small-volume cell and the beam must pass through a compact window region at 15 mm above the base. This is a useful format when beam height, beam footprint and top access all matter in the same setup.

What makes this option different

  • 10 mm optical path in an ultra-micro cell for UV/Vis and fluorescence methods that use this path length.
  • 100 µL nominal capacity for small-volume loading in a fixed-body cuvette.
  • Three-Way Light configuration for setups that use this optical access arrangement.
  • 2 × 5 mm window to help you judge whether the beam footprint suits the intended optical region.
  • 15 mm Z Height from the bottom to the optical center for holder and beam-position checks.
  • Open-top format for direct pipette filling and easy inspection before measurement.

Using this cell

Fill from the open top and make sure the sample covers the optical region without trapping bubbles. Because the measurement area is compact, it is good practice to keep the same cell orientation for blank and sample runs.

The 100 µL figure is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your beam is narrow or tightly positioned, check actual fill coverage in the holder you plan to use.

First-use check

  1. Inspect the optical region and top rim before first filling.
  2. Check beam alignment with a suitable blank in the actual holder.
  3. Confirm that the filled sample covers the beam area and that no exterior droplets remain on the optical faces.

Fit and optical alignment

The body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. These are body-only dimensions, so if your fixture fits closely around the upper part of the cell, check clearance around the top opening as well.

The beam center is 15 mm above the bottom, and the window is marked 2 × 5 mm. Match both height and beam footprint to your instrument, since body size alone does not show whether the beam will pass through the intended optical region.

Solvents and cleaning

This cell uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction. It is generally suited to room-temperature aqueous samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this bonded assembly.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid with quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue and a mild cleaning routine.

Included with this option

1 MQQMC030 cuvette. The listed price is for one piece.

Availability and ordering

Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.

Discuss a custom version

We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to your application.

Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; the final quantity, feasibility, specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Modified designs and prototype batches are quoted separately from the listed SKU. Send a product-selection enquiry with SKU MQQMC030 and your holder, beam and sample details.
