Using this cell

Fill from the top with a suitable pipette and make sure the liquid covers the measurement region before reading. Although this version has a larger nominal volume within the series, careful filling still matters because the optical region remains compact.

Keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements. After filling, check for trapped air and wipe exterior optical faces gently before placing the cell back into the beam.

Fit and optical alignment

The body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, and these dimensions apply to the cell body only. Check the holder opening, surrounding clearance and top access space before ordering, especially if your setup is crowded above the sample position.

The 15 mm Z Height identifies the beam-center position from the base to the optical-window center. This is important for alignment, but it does not by itself confirm full fit, beam coverage or compatibility with every holder that accepts a 10 mm path cuvette.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. For this fabrication, routine room-temperature aqueous samples and buffers are the more suitable choice.

Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this bonded cell. Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz, and avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaners. Chemical limits for this exact assembly are not established here, so check suitability before use if your sample or cleaning process involves more aggressive chemicals.
