(MQQSC043) Quartz Flow Cell, 3 mm Path, 54 µL, Opposed M6 Ports
$575.00
JGS1 quartz flow cell with a 3 mm optical path, 54 µL nominal capacity and two opposed M6 threaded ports. The 3 × 3 × 6 mm chamber sits within a 33 × 12.5 × 12.5 mm bare body, keeping the sample region compact while allowing fittings at each end. Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction; one cell supplied.
Description
MQQSC043 is a compact JGS1 quartz flow cell for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 3 mm optical path, 54 µL nominal capacity and two opposed M6 threaded fluid openings. The 3 × 3 × 6 mm internal chamber gives you a small-volume flow-cell format, while the threaded end connections make it easier to plan around fittings intended for a screw connection rather than plain tube ends.
This is a good fit when you want a short optical path in a compact square body and you need the fluid route to enter from opposite ends. The listed sale unit is one cell.

Choose this option
Choose MQQSC043 when your method is built around a 3 mm path and a defined low nominal volume, and when opposed threaded ports are more useful to you than projecting glass tubes. The 33 × 12.5 × 12.5 mm body provides a defined bare-cell envelope for planning the holder; allow separate clearance for the fittings at both ends.
What makes this option different
- 3 mm optical path suits methods set up around a short absorption path.
- 54 µL nominal capacity is paired with a 3 × 3 × 6 mm internal chamber.
- Two opposed M6 threaded fluid openings support end-to-end connection planning around threaded fittings.
- Compact 33 × 12.5 × 12.5 mm body-only size helps with holder layout, while attached fittings will extend the installed footprint.
Structure and dimensions

Using this cell
Support the cell body during assembly and connect the fluid lines through the two opposed threaded openings. Fill the chamber slowly so the liquid wets the optical region evenly, then clear visible bubbles before taking a blank or sample reading.
For repeatable UV/Vis work, keep the same mounting and flow arrangement for both blank and sample. The 54 µL figure is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so your operating routine should keep the beam path fully covered in the installed position.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and threaded connection areas for chips, residue or transport contamination.
- Mount the cell and confirm that the beam passes cleanly through the intended optical faces.
- Prime with a suitable blank, remove visible bubbles and recheck the baseline before sample measurement.
Fit and optical alignment

The stated 33 × 12.5 × 12.5 mm dimensions apply to the optical body only. Leave extra space for the installed fittings, tool access and tubing approach on both ends.
Z Height is not established for this item, so the body dimensions alone should not be treated as a beam-height match for a specific holder or instrument. If your setup has a fixed beam position, check that requirement separately before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This cell uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. It is generally suited to room-temperature water-based samples and buffer systems. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this construction.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue, and ask us to review the conditions if your method involves aggressive liquids, elevated temperature or long contact times.
Included with this option
1 Quartz Flow Cell. The listed price is for one piece.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We also coordinate custom JGS1 quartz flow cells when you need a different path length, chamber size, external envelope or connection style. If beam height, fitting arrangement or chemical conditions are critical, send your drawing or holder details with the sample liquid, concentration, temperature, contact time and required quantity through our contact page.
