Using this cell

Fill the cell so the sample fully covers the illuminated region used by your instrument, then close the top if your procedure calls for covered handling. Keep the optical faces clean and dry on the outside, and remove bubbles before measurement.

For methods that depend on repeatable positioning, keep the same orientation for blank and sample. Four-Way Light gives access from more than one side, which can be useful in UV/Vis or fluorescence setups, but the window layout alone does not define a specific instrument geometry.

Solvents and cleaning
