Using this cell

Fill each cuvette through the screw opening and cap it before handling or measurement where your procedure calls for a closed cell. Keep the optical faces clean and use a consistent orientation for blank and sample so the same faces are presented to the beam each time.

The stated 3.5 mL is the nominal cuvette capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you plan to work below a full fill, check that the liquid level still covers the beam position in your instrument.

First-use check

Inspect both cells for clean optical faces and any handling residue.
Rinse with a liquid suitable for your sample and the complete cuvette assembly.
Run a blank using the same cell orientation planned for measurement.
Check that each capped cuvette seats cleanly in the holder without interference.

Fit and optical alignment

Each cuvette body has a 12.5 × 12.5 mm square base and a 35 mm optical body height. These dimensions are useful for checking holder slot size and vertical clearance around the cell body.

Z Height is not listed for this SKU, so body size alone does not confirm beam-center alignment in a spectrometer or accessory. If your holder depends on a defined beam height, please verify that requirement before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning
