Using this cell

Fill the cell so the sample covers the beam path used by your instrument, then close the cap for covered handling as required by your workflow. Keep the optical faces free of droplets, fingerprints and dried residue, and remove bubbles before measurement.

Use a consistent orientation for blank and sample if your procedure depends on repeatable positioning. Four-Way Light supports access from more than one side, but it does not by itself establish fit with every fluorescence or UV/Vis holder geometry.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, sample chamber and threads for chips, dust or residue.
Rinse with a solvent suitable for your method and the complete assembled cell.
Check holder clearance with the cap fitted if you will measure with the top closed.
Run a blank and confirm that the filled sample covers the illuminated region.

Fit and optical alignment

The established body dimensions for this option are 12.5 × 12.5 × 43 mm uncapped, with an overall height of 45 mm when closed. Check holder width and top clearance for the cap as well as the square body footprint before ordering.

Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your instrument requires a defined beam-center height from the cuvette bottom, that point should be checked separately.

Solvents and cleaning

Chemical limits are not established here for the complete assembled option. If your method involves aggressive liquids, elevated temperature or prolonged contact time, please check the full sample and cleaning conditions before use. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
