C104TS2 is a JGS1 quartz screw-top cuvette for UV/Vis and fluorescence setups that use a 10 mm optical path and need optical access from four sides. It combines a 3.5 mL nominal capacity with a single threaded top opening and a supplied PTFE screw cap, so you can fill directly from above and keep the sample covered during handling or measurement. Sold as 1 cuvette.

Structure and dimensions

Using this cell

Fill the cuvette through the threaded top opening and make sure the liquid level covers the beam area used by your instrument. Keep the optical faces clean, and remove visible bubbles from the path before measurement.

The supplied screw cap is useful when you want the sample chamber covered during handling or during a measurement sequence. It should not be treated as a pressure-rated closure.

First-use check

Before first use, inspect the optical faces for dust, fingerprints or residue. Rinse with a solvent appropriate for your method, run a blank at your working wavelength, and confirm that your normal fill level covers the beam in the installed position.

Fit and optical alignment

The body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 38 mm. Overall height is 54 mm uncapped and 58 mm with the cap fitted, which helps when checking lid clearance or tight vertical space inside the sample compartment.

Z Height is not established for this SKU, so beam-center alignment should be checked in your own holder if your instrument depends on a defined beam height. Four-Way Light describes the optical access category of the cell itself and should not be read as automatic compatibility with every fluorescence instrument.

Solvents and cleaning

Molded 83 is generally selected for quartz cuvette methods involving organic solvents or temperature-controlled work. Review the sample liquid, concentration, temperature and contact time for the complete assembly, including the PTFE cap. Send aggressive or heated operating conditions for a compatibility review before use.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials. Wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.

Included with this option

One quartz screw-top cuvette with a PTFE screw cap and storage box. The injectable cap shown in the supplier options is a separate accessory, not the supplied standard cap.
