Using this cell

Fill the cell through the threaded opening, then fit the cap before moving the cuvette into the holder if your procedure calls for covered handling. Keep the optical faces clean, and remove bubbles or droplets from the beam path area before measurement.

The stated 3.5 mL value is the nominal cell capacity. It should not be treated as a minimum working volume, so for methods with a fixed beam position you should check that your normal fill level fully covers the beam in your own instrument.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces under good light before first use. Rinse the sample chamber with a solvent suitable for your method, check that the cap threads on smoothly, and run a blank in your normal measurement orientation.

Fit and optical alignment

The rectangular body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 35 mm, and the uncapped overall height is 55 mm including the neck. These dimensions help you check holder clearance around the square body and vertical space above the cell before ordering.

Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your instrument or holder depends on a defined beam-center height, please verify alignment in your own setup rather than assuming it from the outside dimensions. The stated height is for the uncapped cell and should not be treated as the installed height with the cap fitted.

Solvents and cleaning

Select the sample and cleaning routine for the full assembly, including the quartz body and cap, especially if your method involves aggressive chemicals, elevated temperature or long contact time. Specific chemical limits for this selected configuration are not established here.
