Original price was: $218.00.$197.00Current price is: $197.00.
C032WS2 is a JGS1 quartz large-window cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy, with a 3 mm optical path, 6.7 mL nominal capacity and Two-Way Light layout. Its tall open-top body gives direct access to a long sample chamber, and this version uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction. Sold as 1 cuvette per listed price unit.
Description
C032WS2 is a JGS1 quartz large-window cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy from 200 to 2500 nm. It combines a 3 mm optical path with a 6.7 mL nominal capacity in a tall open-top body, so it suits setups that need a short transmission path together with a longer chamber and direct top access. This version also uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction, which matters when planning sample and cleaning conditions.

Choose this option
Choose C032WS2 when you need a 3 mm path but want a substantially taller large-window chamber than smaller cells in the same general style. The open top makes pipetting and rinsing straightforward, while the 42 × 5 × 72 mm uncapped body is useful when your method benefits from a longer liquid column in the cell body and your holder has the vertical clearance to accept it.
What makes this option different
- 3 mm optical path with a 6.7 mL nominal capacity in a tall large-window body.
- Open-top chamber for direct filling, rinsing and visual inspection.
- 72 mm uncapped body height for setups that can accommodate a taller cell format.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction for room-temperature water-based samples and buffers.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette from the top and keep the measurement faces clean, with no bubbles or residue across the beam path. The long chamber format can be convenient when you want more nominal volume in the cell, but the actual liquid level still needs to cover the beam position used by your instrument.
The stated 6.7 mL is a nominal chamber capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you run reduced fill levels, check beam coverage in your own setup before using the cell for routine measurements.
First-use check
- Inspect the chamber and optical faces for dust, residue or handling marks.
- Place the empty cell in the intended holder to confirm clearance and seating.
- Rinse with a suitable blank or compatible liquid before first use.
- Check that your planned fill level covers the active beam area.
Fit and optical alignment
The uncapped body measures 42 × 5 × 72 mm, with an internal chamber size of 40 × 3 × 70 mm. Check holder width, depth and especially height clearance before ordering, because this is a tall cell body and may not suit tightly enclosed cuvette compartments.
Z Height is not specified for this option. If your spectrometer or accessory depends on a defined beam-center height, confirm that separately rather than assuming fit from the path length or outside dimensions alone.
Solvents and cleaning
Standard 80 is the MQ construction option for adhesive-bonded quartz cuvettes used with room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this construction. If your method involves organic-solvent use, a different construction may be more suitable.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Clean the optical faces gently and review the full liquid conditions in your method, including concentration, temperature and contact time, if chemical exposure is demanding.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. If you need a supplied closure or other accessory, contact us before ordering.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
If you need a different fit or geometry, we can review custom JGS1 quartz versions of this cuvette style. Send your drawing or labelled sketch, holder or instrument information, sample conditions and required quantity through the contact page, and refer to part number C032WS2.
