Using this cell

Fill the chamber so the liquid covers the beam during measurement, then place the lid as needed for routine covered handling. Keep the optical faces clean, remove bubbles from the beam area and use the same orientation for blank and sample where your method depends on consistent placement.

The stated 76.8 mL is the nominal chamber capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you plan to run at a lower fill level, check that the beam still passes through liquid in your holder or spectrometer.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and lid seating surfaces before first use, then rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method. Run a blank at your working wavelength and confirm that the beam passes through a fully covered, bubble-free sample region.
