(C104WS12) Quartz Flow Cell, 20 mm / 10 mm (dual path) Path, 2.6 mL
Original price was: $798.00.$719.00Current price is: $719.00.
C104WS12 is a JGS1 quartz flow cell for UV/Vis work with a 20 mm main path, a 10 mm secondary path and a Four-Way Light layout. Its 2.6 mL nominal capacity and opposed 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID tube connections help you plan the optical geometry and flow connection as one assembly. Supplied as the listed C104WS12 flow-cell specification.
Description
C104WS12 is a JGS1 quartz flow cell for UV/Vis spectroscopy that combines a 20 mm main path with a 10 mm secondary path in a Four-Way Light configuration. It is suited to setups that need this multi-axis optical access while keeping the flow cell in a compact quartz body with a 2.6 mL nominal capacity.
The cell uses two opposed fluid tubes with 4 mm outer diameter and 2 mm inner diameter. For installation planning, the body dimensions are 22.5 × 12.5 × 24 mm, while the full outer span shown for this option is 22.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, so the projecting tube section needs to be included in your space check.

Choose this option
Choose C104WS12 when your method is built around a 20 mm flow path and also requires a second 10 mm optical axis in the same cell. The Four-Way Light layout is the key structural difference here, and the defined tube size helps when you need to match the optical cell, tubing and holder arrangement together rather than selecting those parts separately.
What makes this option different
- 20 mm main path with a 10 mm secondary path in one flow cell.
- Four-Way Light layout for setups that use side optical access in addition to the primary path.
- 2.6 mL nominal cell volume for planning fill and rinse steps.
- Two opposed tube connections with 4 mm OD and 2 mm ID.
- 22.5 × 12.5 × 24 mm body size, with a 45 mm outer height/span shown for the assembled outline.
Using this cell
Connect the two opposed tubes into the flow line and fill the cell gradually so the sample region wets evenly across the optical section. Before measurement, inspect the visible sample area for trapped bubbles, residual liquid or exterior droplets that could interfere with the reading.
Keep blank and sample runs in the same orientation if your setup depends on stable optical positioning. The stated 2.6 mL volume applies to the cell itself, not to the total volume of the connected tubing or the rest of the fluid path.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and both tube ends before connecting the cell.
- Verify that your tubing matches the stated 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID connection size.
- Fill with a suitable blank and check the light path for bubbles or residue.
- Confirm that the holder supports the cell body without loading the tube connections.
Fit and optical alignment
Check both the body size and the full installed outline. The compact body may fit a support block well, but the projecting tube section increases the space needed above or around the cell, especially where tubing must bend away from the instrument area.
Z Height is not listed for this model, so external dimensions alone are not enough to judge beam alignment in a fixed-position holder. If your instrument requires a defined beam-centre height, confirm that point before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
Molded 83 is commonly chosen for methods involving organic solvents and for applications where temperature control may be part of the setup. Select cleaning and sample-contact materials for the full wetted assembly, including any tubing or fittings attached to the cell.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. For routine care, rinse promptly after use and wipe exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.

Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch, together with your holder or instrument details, sample conditions and quantity, and we can review the request. Discuss your requirements.
