Quartz 10mm fluorescence flow cuvette, 16 ml, four-way light windows, 13 × 43 × 43 mm. Standard 80 fabrication, 190-2500 nm, SKU: C404WS
Description
The C404WS is a quartz fluorescence flow cuvette with precision optical path and four-way light windows (four polished optical faces for standard fluorescence excitation-emission geometry), holding 16 ml of sample. The cell measures 13 × 43 × 43 mm externally with an internal chamber of 10 × 40 × 42 mm. Inlet and outlet ports enable continuous sample flow for real-time monitoring applications. Fabricated using Standard 80 technique with precision-glued quartz construction, delivering >80% transmittance across the 190-2500 nm range. The quartz body is suitable for aqueous (water-based) solutions only. Do not use with organic solvents, strong acids, or strong bases.

Applications
Why Four-Way Light Windows?
The four-way light (all-clear) configuration provides four optically polished faces, enabling both transmission-mode (0°/180°) and right-angle (90°) fluorescence measurements in a single cell. This versatility makes it ideal for fluorescence spectroscopy, Raman scattering, and multi-angle detection. The polished surfaces also allow visual inspection of the sample during flow operation.
Why a Flow Cell?
Flow cells enable continuous, real-time spectroscopic monitoring without manual sample handling. By connecting a flow cell to a pump or gravity-feed system, you can monitor concentration changes, reaction kinetics, or process streams in real time without removing the cell from the instrument. This eliminates human error, reduces sample exposure to air, and enables automated data collection over extended periods.
Why Standard 80 Fabrication?
The Standard 80 fabrication uses precision UV-cured adhesive to bond high-purity quartz panels. This method delivers >80% transmittance across the UV-Vis-NIR spectrum while keeping costs accessible. The adhesive joints are optically transparent and spectrally neutral, making Standard 80 cells an excellent choice for routine measurements in aqueous media where aggressive solvents are not required.
