(C102WS18) Quartz Flow Cell, 20 mm Path, 2.6 mL
Original price was: $608.00.$548.00Current price is: $548.00.
C102WS18 is a JGS1 quartz flow cell for UV/Vis work with a 20 mm optical path, a Two-Way Light layout and 2.6 mL nominal capacity. It uses two opposed fluid tubes with 4 mm OD and 2 mm ID, so you can match the optical path and connection size together. Supplied as the listed C102WS18 flow-cell specification.
Description
C102WS18 is a JGS1 quartz flow cell for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 20 mm optical path in a Two-Way Light layout. Its 2.6 mL nominal capacity and opposed 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID tube connections make it a practical choice when you need a defined in-line quartz cell and want the tubing plan to stay straightforward.
This version is also useful when holder space is limited around the optical body. The stated 22.5 × 12.5 × 24 mm dimensions apply to the cell body itself, while the tube connections project beyond that body size and need their own clearance in the installed setup.

Choose this option
Choose C102WS18 when your method is built around a 20 mm transmission path and you want a simple two-axis optical layout rather than a multi-side access cell. The opposed tube format suits direct in-line connection, and the stated 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID tube size gives you a clear starting point for tubing and support design.
What makes this option different
- 20 mm optical path for a longer in-line UV/Vis transmission cell format.
- Two-Way Light layout with a straightforward transmission geometry.
- 2.6 mL nominal cell volume for planning fill, rinse and changeover steps.
- Two opposed fluid tubes, each 4 mm OD and 2 mm ID.
- Compact body dimensions of 22.5 × 12.5 × 24 mm, excluding tube projections.
Using this cell
Install the cell inline using the two opposed tube connections and support the quartz body itself during setup. Fill gradually so the sample region wets evenly, then inspect the illuminated section before taking a blank or sample reading.
Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs if your method depends on repeatable positioning. The 2.6 mL figure is the nominal volume of the cell, not the total volume of the external tubing and the rest of the fluid circuit.
First-use check
- Inspect both optical faces and both tube openings before installation.
- Check that your tubing matches the stated 4 mm OD / 2 mm ID connection size.
- Fill with a suitable blank and confirm that the light path is free of bubbles and residue.
- Make sure the installed cell is supported by the body without stressing the tube ends.
Fit and optical alignment
Use the published body dimensions to check how the optical block will sit in a holder or fixture, but leave extra room for the projecting tubes and tubing bends. The body-only dimensions should not be treated as the full installed envelope.
Z Height is not listed for this model. If your instrument has a fixed beam position or a holder designed around a specific beam-centre height, confirm that requirement before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
Molded 83 is commonly chosen for organic-solvent methods and for applications that may involve temperature control. Select the sample-contact and cleaning routine for the full wetted assembly, including any tubing and fittings connected to the cell.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
