(C102SS15) Quartz Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 350 µL
Original price was: $72.00.$65.00Current price is: $65.00.
C102SS15 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, 350 µL nominal capacity and an included stopper. Its Two-Way Light layout and 1 mm stated sample-region width suit UV/Vis methods that use a very narrow filled region in a compact 12.5 × 12.5 mm body. Supplied as 1 cuvette.
Description
C102SS15 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette with a 10 mm optical path, 350 µL nominal capacity and an included stopper. This option is built for UV/Vis work where you want to keep the standard transmission path but work with a smaller nominal sample volume and a very narrow 1 mm stated sample region. It uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction, so the sample chemistry and cleaning routine matter as much as the geometry.

Choose this option
Choose C102SS15 when your method needs a 10 mm path in a compact micro cuvette and you are working with a narrow illuminated region. The 350 µL nominal capacity and 1 mm sample region make this version suited to small-volume fills, provided your beam position and holder can align cleanly with the intended filled area.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path in a compact micro cuvette body.
- 350 µL nominal capacity for lower-volume fills.
- 1 mm stated sample-region width for very narrow beam presentation.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction with an included stopper.
Using this cell
Fill carefully so the liquid fully covers the beam path without bubbles or gaps in the illuminated region. Because the sample region is narrow, consistent orientation and careful filling matter; use the same seating direction for blank and sample, and keep the outer optical faces clean and dry.
Seat the stopper gently after filling. The 350 µL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so very low fills should be checked in your own instrument rather than assumed from the nominal figure.
First-use check
- Inspect the cell and stopper for dust, residue or transit damage.
- Test fit the empty cell in your holder.
- Run a blank first and confirm that the filled region sits fully in the beam.
- Check for bubbles or droplets on the optical faces before measurement.
Fit and optical alignment
The stated external dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, with a 12.5 × 12.5 mm base. That gives you the holder footprint and body format to check against your cuvette slot.
Z Height is not specified for this SKU. The 1 mm stated sample-region width is important for beam alignment, especially in instruments with a fixed beam center or limited vertical tolerance, so confirm that the beam passes through the intended filled region before ordering for a critical setup.
Solvents and cleaning
Standard 80 is the MQ option for routine water-based samples and buffers at room temperature. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this construction. If your method uses organic solvents, discuss a more suitable construction before ordering.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Rinse promptly after use, and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. Chemical compatibility for this exact full assembly is not established here beyond that general Standard 80 selection direction.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 micro cuvette with a stopper included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and fabrication requirements. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to your application. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; the final quantity, feasibility, specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Modified designs and prototype batches are quoted separately from the listed SKU. Discuss your requirements
