Description
C102SS25 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work that combines a standard 10 mm optical path with a 700 µL nominal capacity. This version uses a 2 mm sample-region width, a stopper closure and Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction, so it fits routine water-based sample and buffer work at room temperature.
The cell has a Two-Way Light layout for transmission through the main opposing optical faces. Its 12.5 × 12.5 mm square base keeps the familiar cuvette footprint for holder planning, while the 2 mm sample region gives a middle ground between narrower and broader variants in the same family.

Using this cell
Fill the cell so the illuminated region is fully covered and free of bubbles, then insert the stopper gently. For repeatable measurements, use the same orientation and similar filling practice for blank and sample runs.
The 700 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume. Your practical fill level should be established in relation to the beam position in your instrument and the way your method is run.

- Run a blank at your intended fill level and confirm full beam coverage without bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment

Solvents and cleaning
Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction is the MQ option for routine water-based samples and buffers at room temperature. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this construction. If your method depends on organic-solvent use, ask about a more suitable construction.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Clean the optical faces gently and do not allow residues to dry on the windows.
