(C102CD5) Quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 200 µL
Original price was: $133.00.$120.00Current price is: $120.00.
C102CD5 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis work, combining a 10 mm optical path with 200 µL nominal capacity and a 15 mm Z Height. Its stopper-equipped format keeps the top covered during routine handling while maintaining a compact body for holder planning. Sold as 1 cuvette, with closure included.
Description
C102CD5 is a JGS1 quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, 200 µL nominal capacity and a 15 mm Z Height. It suits methods that keep a standard 10 mm path but work with a small liquid charge rather than a larger cuvette fill. The included closure also makes it useful when you want the sample covered at the top during normal handling.

Choose this option
Choose C102CD5 when your UV/Vis method needs a 10 mm path and your sample size fits a 200 µL nominal ultra-micro format. The 15 mm Z Height is a key fit point for instruments and holders that reference beam position from the cell base, and the stopper-equipped top is helpful for routine covered handling of small liquid volumes.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for methods built around this standard absorbance path length.
- 200 µL nominal capacity in an ultra-micro cell format for small-volume UV/Vis measurements.
- 15 mm Z Height for bottom-referenced beam alignment in compatible holders.
- Two-Way Light configuration for the defined transmission path used in routine UV/Vis work.
- Closure included for a stopper-equipped top during routine handling.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction for room-temperature water-based samples and buffers.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the beam passes fully through liquid rather than through an exposed upper region. The 200 µL value is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so your practical fill level should be based on full beam coverage and stable handling in your own method.
Insert the supplied closure carefully and keep the contact surfaces clean. The covered top is useful during routine bench use, but it does not establish a pressure rating or guarantee performance for inversion, transport or other sealing-dependent conditions.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and top opening for dust or residue.
- Place the empty cell in the holder to confirm stable seating and top clearance.
- Fill with blank solution and verify that the beam region is fully covered without bubbles.
- Insert the closure gently and confirm that your normal handling does not shift the sample condition.
Fit and optical alignment
The body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm for the bare cell body. That height refers to the body only, not the full installed height with the closure projecting above it, so check top clearance if your holder area is tight.
The optical centre is 15 mm above the base. Match that reference to your instrument geometry, especially if your holder has a fixed beam position or limited vertical adjustment.
Solvents and cleaning
This cell uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. It is generally suited to room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this assembled cell.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Clean with a suitable non-abrasive laboratory method, and wipe the outside optical faces gently with optical tissue.
