Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and close it during normal handling and measurement as appropriate for your method. For repeatable results, keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements and keep all optical faces clean and free from droplets or residue.

The 700 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses a low fill or depends on a defined beam position, check that the liquid fully covers the illuminated region in the orientation you will actually use.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and closure before first use, rinse with a method-compatible liquid and run a blank at the intended wavelength. Check that the sample level covers the beam path without bubbles in the actual measurement position.

Fit and optical alignment

The Four-Way Light layout provides optical access from each vertical side of the cell body, which can matter when your holder, detector position or viewing direction needs more than a simple two-face transmission path. It does not by itself establish compatibility with any particular instrument or holder geometry.

Solvents and cleaning
