Using this cell

Fill from the top opening and close the cuvette during normal handling and measurement as required by your procedure. Keep the same orientation from blank to sample, and keep the outer optical faces clean and dry so the beam passes through the liquid sample rather than surface residue.

The stated 700 µL is the nominal capacity of each cuvette. It should not be treated as a guaranteed minimum working volume, so low-fill methods should be checked in the actual holder with attention to beam position and liquid coverage.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes and their closures before first use. Rinse with a method-compatible liquid, run a blank in the same orientation planned for measurement, and confirm that the sample level fully covers the illuminated region without bubbles.

Fit and optical alignment

The Four-Way Light layout gives optical access from each vertical face, which can help when your viewing direction or fixture arrangement needs side access beyond a simple two-face transmission path. It does not on its own guarantee fit with a specific spectrometer, fluorimeter or holder.

Solvents and cleaning
